SaviBank branch manager Lynette Gentry told Concrete Herald tonight that the Concrete branch of SaviBank will open on Mon., Oct. 7, at 9 a.m.

“We are coming,” said Gentry. “We’ve been given approval to open.”

The new branch will be open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The drive-through window will be open till 5:30 p.m. on those days. The branch will close each weekday from noon to 1 p.m., for staff lunches.

Gentry will resume her role as manager at the branch. Returning employees are Heather Haj and Gladys Silrus. A full-time teller position will be offered; details will be posted at the SaviBank Web site (www.savibank.com).

Gentry was unable to provide details regarding the status of the ATM, although that service is expected to be included at a later date.
